Shu-Min Tang was born in Dalian, Sichuan in 1967, graduated from Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1991 and studied with Professor Hsien-Kuang Chuan. Presently he is an associate professor in College of Fine Arts and Design of Shenyang Normal University, a graduate advisor in oil painting sector, a researcher in the Institute for the Future, China Society for Futures Studies and a member of China Artists Association and Artists Association in Liaoning Province. Many of his works had won prizes, and were published and exhibited by National and International Art Exhibitions. Some of his oil paintings and traditional Chinese paintings were collected by Liaoning Art Museum and collectors nationally and internationally. He has published numerous dissertations which were awarded prizes. The oil painting collections he published are "Shu-Min Tang- an Excellent Artist in 21st Century" and "Shu-min Tang-Oil Painter". |
